It has been developed to meet the demanding challenges faced by today’s professional operators.
Being part of the NFM Group gives Equipnor exclusive access to NFM’s renowned products, recognised for their quality and innovative solutions. With a strong focus on innovation, technology, and sustainability, NFM is a preferred partner, enabling Equipnor to deliver high-quality, high-performance products to modern operators.
Technology and Innovation
HJELM™ is manufactured using FREC-2™ press technology, which provides the market’s best performance-to-weight ratio. This makes the helmet extremely lightweight without compromising protection. Additionally, KOROYD technology enhances impact protection and reduces the risk of serious head injuries. KOROYD’s core technology efficiently absorbs energy, offering significant protection against rotational forces and concussions.

Key Features of HJELM™
Functions and Design
HJELM™ has been designed with a modular interface, enabling easy integration of system components and accessories. The patented Edgemount™ and HASP™ systems allow for the attachment of equipment, communication systems, and camouflage, making the helmet a flexible platform adaptable to various operations.
- Skullplate Liner System: This system provides an optimal combination of comfort, stability, and protection. It can be adjusted for a perfect fit and increased resistance to rotational forces, which can cause headaches and concussions.
- Chin strap: HJELM™ offers several chin strap options, including one where the buckle is positioned at the back of the neck for enhanced comfort and flexibility. This system ensures a stable, comfortable fit, preventing the helmet from slipping off during intense activities.
Optimal Camouflage and Signature Reduction
The choice of colour and camouflage for the helmet shell is essential for signature reduction. HJELM™’s surface is treated with specially developed colours to achieve optimal camouflage. It is also compatible with NFM’s EC paint, allowing the helmet to be adapted for various operational environments.
HJELM™ includes multiple solutions to minimise visibility to sensor systems, such as HASP™ (Helmet Attachment System for Personalisation). This system makes it easy to attach various types of camouflage to the helmet, from natural materials like twigs and grass to synthetic materials such as custom fabrics used in Ghillie suits. One example of synthetic camouflage is NFM Trollhair, which effectively disrupts the silhouette of the head.
Compatibility and Integration
HJELM™ is compatible with a wide range of communication systems, headsets, and accessories, ensuring flexibility and user-friendliness. The rear-mounted accessory bracket supports the integration of Ops-Core ARC™ and Ops-Core AMP™ headsets, while the horizontal mount is optimised for Peltor™ ComTac™ rail attachments.
For users who prefer standalone headsets, HJELM™’s liner system works seamlessly with such solutions, ensuring optimal audio and communication performance without compromising comfort or protection.

A Comprehensive System for Modern Requirements
HJELM™ is more than just a helmet. It is a complete platform for protection, signature reduction, and operational support. With advanced technology, flexible customisation options, and seamless integration of critical equipment, HJELM™ provides a unique combination of innovation and functionality. This makes it indispensable equipment for modern soldiers and operators.
