The TEAM

As CEO, Gunnar has overall responsibility for Equipnor’s deliveries and results. He has approximately 20 years of experience from the Norwegian Armed Forces and the defense industry. After a long career in the Norwegian Armed Forces, he has gained abundant experience with national and international business development, marketing, and sales from Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace. He is educated at the The Norwegian Military Academy and has an MBA from the University of Bodø.

Martin started at Equipnor in 2016 as a product manager for weapons and electro-optics. He is Prince2 certified and has been project manager for several sales projects before he took over as Sales & Marketing Manager. In 2023, we started his new role as Operational Manager at Equipnor. Martin has several years of service at the Coastal Ranger Commando before he took a master’s degree in electrical engineering at the University of Oslo. Worked for several years as an engineer with responsibility for testing, verification, and implementation of low energy radios such as Bluetooth SMART before he started at Equipnor.

Morten leads Equipnor’s sales and marketing activities. With over 13 years of service in the Defence and a decade at the Military Academy, he possesses strong and relevant experience for the position. He has a robust background in B2B sales, where he has held roles such as sales consultant, Key Account Manager (KAM), and sales manager for premium products and has been responsible for their concept development. Through his B2B work, Morten has established strong collaborations with international suppliers and partners.

Charlotte has been employed in the company since 2017 and possesses solid knowledge of public procurement and commercial processes. After over 25 years with a focus on sales, administration, and management from several industries, she has gained significant experience in these fields. Charlotte has a strong focus on good customer and supplier relationships. She is educated in tourism and is a certified Prince2 project manager.

Rune has been a product manager at Equipnor since 2020. He has long experience in sales, including 10 years as sales and marketing manager for the import segment in the sports industry. With a certificate of apprenticeship as an automatic mechanic, Rune also worked for four years in the offshore industry with both gas turbines and subsea structures.
Responsibilities: Climbing equipment, fall protection, field equipment, and clothing.

Espen Linnerud Ringøy joined Equipnor as Technical Product Manager in 2025, with responsibility for the Weapons & Ammunition, and Optics & Electro-Optics product categories. He brings 14 years of experience from the Norwegian Armed Forces’ Special Command (FSK) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in preparedness and crisis management from the Norwegian University of the Interior.
Espen has extensive experience in high-stakes crisis management both nationally and abroad. He has also served as the responsible user representative for the Norwegian Armed Forces’ Special Forces in various projects and procurements with the FMA.
His combination of operational experience, education, and project expertise provides Equipnor with unique insight and a deep technical understanding of various tactical equipment.
Areas of responsibility: Weapons & Ammunition, Optics & Electro-Optics.

Adrian started his career at Equipnor in 2023 as a Project Manager. He has over 12 years of experience from the Norwegian Armed Forces, where he has held several different positions. Adrian is educated at the Norwegian Military Academy and also holds an MBA degree from Nord University. This combination of practical military experience and theoretical business understanding gives Adrian a unique and valuable approach to his work as Project Manager.

Erik has over 30 years of experience with sales and customer-related work from several industries. For the last 20 years, he has worked at Equipnor, and he now manages some of the company’s most important agreements with the Norwegian Police and Defense. Erik is educated at BI Norwegian Business School in Bergen, and he has solid experience with the B2G market.

Preben Fossum started as Key Account Manager in January 2024. He brings with him a solid military background with a total of 13 years of service in the Armed Forces. Preben started his career at STING HRS at Rena, before moving on to His Majesty the Kings Guard (HMKG) after five years where he gained experience as a team leader, platoon sergeant and platoon commander. Preben has been on international duty in Iraq, and has a year from the Army’s Officer Candidate School. Alongside his position at Equipnor, he is studying for a Bachelor in Organization and Management.

Lisbeth is responsible for the company’s B2B market. She has over 20 years of experience from the finance industry, including as KAM for dealer collaboration, responsible for her own district and corporate customers. This, in addition to several years of customer contact, follow-up and management of agreements, has enabled her to develop a good ability to take care of you and your company’s needs.

Cathrine is the accounting manager for the Norwegian companies in the NFM Group and Nor Development Group. She started in 2003 and took over as accounting manager in 2009. She has a bachelor’s degree in economics and has long and broad experience in accounting and salary work. Cathrine is responsible for the Norwegian part of the NFM Group’s financial function. She has also been part of the fantastic development the NFM Group has gone through from a relatively modest business in the early years to the international group it is today.

Therese Johnsen started as an accountant for the Norwegian companies in NFM Group and Nor Development Group, January 2024. She has a Bachelor’s degree in economics and administration from Macquarie University, Sidney, Australia, Østfold University College and the University of the Environment and Biosciences. Therese has many years of experience with accounting from several different companies and industries.

Ann-Cicilie Svendsen started as our Quality Leader in May 2024.
She holds a degree in chemical engineering and has several years of experience in quality management and pharmaceutical production. Ann Cecilie has previously worked as a production operator, a quality control engineer specializing in analysis, and in quality assurance (QA) for raw material release in production.
Before joining Equipnor, she served as a logistics manager with both personnel responsibility and oversight of clinical and diagnostic antibody production, ensuring compliance with GMP and ISO standards. In this role, she gained extensive experience in supplier management, material flow and qualification, as well as validation (CSV) of ERP systems at the GMP level.
With over 10 years of experience in quality, organizational and change management, risk management, and LEAN methodologies, Ann Cecilie brings a strong foundation in optimizing processes and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Morten started as a purchasing manager in the NOR Development Group in 2022. Morten is responsible for the purchasing processes for all companies in the NOR Development Group, including Equipnor. He has over 13 years of experience from the Norwegian Armed Forces, among other things at the Coastal Ranger Command with deployment abroad. Morten has a bachelor’s degree in economics and logistics from the Norwegian Naval Academy and a master’s degree in experience-based management.

Pål has been with the company since 2014 and is responsible for supply chain and purchasing at all levels, in addition to serving as the company’s IT manager. He has led multiple ERP installations and played a key role in the company’s transition from on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure Cloud.
Pål has significantly contributed to the digitization of processes within accounting, invoicing, logistics, and purchasing. He brings with him experience from large international companies such as Husqvarna AB and Schenker AG, and holds a Master’s degree in logistics from BI.

Robbie began his career at NFM in 2006, when the company was still known as Norsk Forsvarsmateriell. He has a diverse educational background, ranging from an electrical trade certificate and PRINCE2 certification to quality management and an extensive education in arts.
Throughout his time in the company, he has held various roles across NFM, Equipnor, and now Nor Development Group. In 2014, Robbie took on the responsibility of establishing and certifying a quality department, in addition to overseeing HSE and information security.

Monica came into NFM as an accounting associate in 2007, when the company was still known as Norsk Forsvarsmateriell AS. After the company merged with Equipnor AS, she continued her career at Equipnor. Today, she is a valued member of NOR Development Group AS, where she manages accounting and payroll for seven Norwegian companies within the group.
Before joining NFM Group, Monica spent several years in the public sector, handling a wide range of responsibilities. Her education as an accountant, combined with a career dedicated to finance within the NFM Group, has given her a strong foundation.
With her extensive and varied experience, she plays a key role in supporting NOR Development Group AS’s continued growth and success.

Mark began as a Logistics Manager at NOR Development Group in 2022. He is responsible for logistics and warehouse management across all companies under NOR Development Group, including Equipnor AS. He brings with him 12 years of logistics experience from the oil industry.
With a background as an officer in the Danish Armed Forces, including deployment with SFOR, Mark brings extensive experience to the role. He has also worked in the Norwegian Correctional Service and the Police Transport Service.
With his diverse and comprehensive expertise, Mark is a valuable asset to NOR Development Group.

Magnus began his career at Equipnor in 2024 as a Technical Product Manager. He brings over 12 years of experience from the Armed Forces, having served both domestically and abroad. Magnus holds a bachelor’s degree in leadership from the Norwegian Military Academy.
His work experience is primarily in command and control information systems within an operational context. His diverse background in the Armed Forces has given him a strong combination of technical and operational expertise, making him well-equipped for his role in Equipnor.
Areas of responsibility: C4SR, communication and soldier systems

Hilde Wilhelmsen joined the company in 2023 and works with content production, events, and digital marketing for Equipnor. She is a trained copywriter and graphic designer with extensive experience in marketing for both small and large companies. Her background includes marketing in media agencies, retail, and the agricultural sector.
